   if you are referring to the ‘status’ that is updated for each picture you’ve uploaded, you’re correct, this is an automatic occurance and cannot be changed at the moment.

   A work-around for this situation would be to upload your new image to a thirdparty image hosting service (like photobucket.com) and then manually reference the image using html tags. By doing this your ‘new’ image won’t show up in your status.
