Open Question: My internet just stopped working please?

Ok my sister was on the internet earlier and manged to kick the piece you plug in the modem cord in the back into the computer. Everything rad loose until I put it back. Now my computer says that it can’t find my network adapter and it can’t find the device.I think something is loose inside the computer. Please someone help me.
